Professor Liu was hired as a mentor of Talent Project the China Association for Science and Technology and the Ministry of Education.

At 9:00 am on February 24, 2019, the appointment ceremony of the Hunan Middle School Student Talents Instructor was held in the lecture hall on the fourth floor of the Yali Middle School Building. Chen Zifeng, director of the Hunan Provincial Association for Science and Technology Youth Activity Center, a member of the Education Department, a member of the All Mentors Group, and nearly 100 participants, including students, parents, and representatives of secondary school teachers.Incleding professor Liu,eleven professors  were hired as the mentor of the 2019 Hunan Middle School Students" Talent Project".

In order to implement the relevant requirements of the National Medium- and Long-Term Education Reform and Development Plan (2010-2020), effectively promote the development and opening up of high-quality science and technology education resources in colleges and universities, and establish an effective way for colleges and middle schools to jointly discover and train young talents in science and technology innovation. Since 2013, the Concord Education Department has jointly organized and implemented the Middle School Students Science and Technology Innovation Reserve Talents Training Program (referred to as the “Gender Program”).

The "Talent Project" aims to select a group of middle school students with excellent academic performance and academic ability to enter the university and participate in scientific research, academic research and scientific research under the guidance of famous scientists in the basic disciplines of natural sciences, so that middle school students can feel the charm of famous teachers.
